Last Updated: 25/11/2025

This Cookies Policy explains how Divvio ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our application. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognize your device, store your preferences (like dark mode), and keep you logged in.

2. How We Use Cookies

We use cookies for three specific reasons:

  • Security & Authentication: To keep you logged in as you move between steps of the Form E wizard.
  • Payments: To process payments securely via Stripe and prevent fraud.
  • Preferences: To remember settings like your preferred theme (Light/Dark mode).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track your browsing activity across other websites to show you ads.

C. Analytics (Optional)

(If you add Google Analytics or Vercel Analytics later, list them here. Currently, based on your setup, you may not have these active. If not, state: "We do not currently set analytics cookies.")

5. Managing Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in various ways:

Browser Settings

You can block cookies by activating the setting on your browser that allows you to refuse the setting of all or some cookies. However, if you use your browser settings to block all cookies (including essential cookies), you may not be able to access parts of our site, and you will not be able to log in or save your Form E progress.

Our Cookie Banner

When you first visit Divvio, you will see a banner allowing you to accept or reject non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

6. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services (Supabase, Stripe, OpenAI) to run our app. While we control which services we use, they may technically set cookies or use "local storage" on your device to function.

  • OpenAI: We use the OpenAI API server-side. They do not set cookies on your browser directly.
  • Stripe: Uses cookies to detect fraud during the checkout process.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date.
